Market signals are our own judgment from late 2026 research of new app listings. They describe other apps, go out of date, and are not a promise of what you will earn. Most new apps earn little.Source: Our own research of app listings and product pages, Oct to Nov 2026
What it is
Users share a recipe video or link into the app, and it pulls the ingredients and steps into a clean recipe card. From there they can plan the week and get one combined grocery list. It is for people who save recipes on social apps and never cook them.
Why it looks interesting
Several new meal-planning and recipe apps have appeared on both stores, and this is one of the stronger groups in the research. Apps tend to focus either on saving recipes or on planning to a budget, so combining the two leaves room, and the problem is easy to show in a short video.

Watch out
App stores and social platforms restrict downloading or converting their media, so work only from what the user shares, such as captions and screenshots, and never rip audio to transcribe it. Recipes belong to their creators, so keep a link to the source.
