Similar new apps seen: many

Market signals are our own judgment from late 2026 research of new app listings. They describe other apps, go out of date, and are not a promise of what you will earn. Most new apps earn little.Source: Our own research of app listings and product pages, Oct to Nov 2026

What it is

Family members join a private circle, choose to share their location and see each other on a map, with arrival alerts and a way to pause sharing. It is for families and close friends who want to know that people got home safely. Every person must opt in and can see who can view them.

Why it looks interesting

This is one of the strongest groups in the research, with many new apps from different studios, so demand looks clear. It is also the hardest of these ideas for a solo, organic launch, because the visible leaders lean on paid marketing and aggressive wording, which leaves room for a clearly honest app.

How it makes money

A yearly family plan covering the whole circle, with basic sharing free for a small circle.

Apps to study

Watch out

Store rules and privacy law are strict here, and covert tracking is not acceptable, so use visible sharing, clear consent and an easy exit. Do not design it to monitor a partner or an employee, and plan how location data gets deleted from day one.
